Learn specific sketching and watercolour techniques designed to attune to your surroundings and increase confidence while on the move. Begin by drawing with different mediums including pencil and ink then explore techniques such as sighting, marking, contour and gesture. Experiment with watercolour paint, pigments and brushwork techniques. Be lost in the moment. De-stress through the joy of travel sketching and create a daily living practice.

Elena Underhill is an artist, illustrator, & designer with a lifetime’s experience. Born to artist parents and painting as long as she can remember, she continues to be inspired with the beauty of life, people and places. Elena teaches part time at Emily Carr University of Art and Design where she received her Bachelor of Fine Art. Her work has included painting with watercolour, pastel, acrylic, and oil, as well as painting and drawing the body. She also works in sculpture with wood, metal and clay. Elena loves meeting new people and working together at stretching the edges of what we think we can do.
